Tank it baby

With all the paint stripped off the fuel tank it has revealed a perfect example with no dents scratches or previous repairs, my job just got a whole lot easier.
When bmw made these k's they didn't seem to worry about making the bits you can't see look neat and tidy, this means there is an ugly seam weld at the rear of the tank that is usually covered by the seat but in the case of what I want to do it will be in plain site, no choice but to hit it with the grinder.
Also the front lip is somewhat unsitely so that can have a little tidy as well.  Where the fairing connects to the tank, the lip extend down and has a hole to hold the fairing In place, with a dremill I will cut that section out to give a more uniform look.
